Stock Market Week In Review

A few down days doth not make a correction. All three major indexes
suffered a bearish two-day turnaround on Thursday and Friday. But it was complete only in the Nasdaq Composite and Nasdaq 100. Friday’s down day did not move lower than Thursday’s low and had lower volume in the S&P 500 and DOW.

Analysis of market sectors does not clear up the picture, unfortunately. Capital Goods and Consumer Durables have both gained about 3.5% so far this month in relative strength for the first time since January. But cars semiconductors, bio-technology and computer software all lost ground.
